Sneha Ullal into Kannada
Actress Sneha Ullal, who is known for her resemblance to beauty queen Aishwarya Rai, could not go a long way in Bollywood after her debut film ‘Lucky: No Time for Love’. However, she is doing quite well in Telugu film industry and is now ready to make her Kollywood and Sandalwood debut.Sneha will make her Tamil film debut with Silambarasan starrer movie 'Vaanam', which will release early next year.
The 22-year-old actress says that she has always wished to work in a Kannada movie and 'Devi' has given her the opportunity to make her Sandalwood debut. Sneha says that she can speak good Kannada as her parents are from Mangalore. Earlier too, she was offered a couple of Sandalwood films but she could not take them up at that time.
Sneha was offered to star opposite Ganesh for Kannada version of her debut Telugu film 'Ullasanga Utsahanga' but she declined to take it up and preferred to realize her Bollywood dreams.
The beautiful actress of 'Ullasamga Utsahamga' fame says that she thinks it is the right time to make her entry in Sandalwood.
In her Kannada debut, Sneha will be cast opposite former Karnataka chief minister S Bangarappa’s son Madhu Bangarappa. V Sridhar will be scoring the music of this film, which will be made by Ishwar Balegundi.
Madhuri to play as Sonam's Mother
If what we hear is true, Madhuri Dixit may soon playing the role of Sonam Kapoor’s mother in Anil Kapoor’s remake of the Hollywood film, Freaky Friday.The role was previously offered to Shabhana Azmi, Rekha and Kirron Kher who had to turn it down due to date clashes. Since Anil has said that he would like to work with his former leading lady again, he felt that Madhuri suited the role perfectly. Although she likes the script, we are still waiting for confirmation on her part in the film which revolves around a mother and daughter who magically swap roles for a day.
Could this be Madhuri’s comeback from her previous comeback, Aaja Nachle?
Her secretary and previous manager, Rakesh Nath has said, “She has got four-five very good offers. She will definitely do another film soon, but this time we have to be very careful. I’ve worked with other actresses, but Madhuriji is Madhuriji.” However, we do know she is meeting him since she tweeted, "Meeting with Anil Kapoor today. Lets see what happens...."
When asked about his upcoming venture, Anil said, “It’s too early to comment on any of my new projects, but I would love to work with Madhuri in any capacity at any stage.”
