Priya Vasudev Mani Iyer is 26 years old and has acted in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam films. She is best known for her National Award winning Tamil film Paruthi Veeran in 2006. She is Vidya Balan's cousin and a critically acclaimed actress.She grew up in Bangalore, is multi-lingual and made her Tamil debut in Bharathiraja's Kangalal Kaidhu Sei in 2004. After a string of unsuccessful films, she struck gold with a Kannada film called Raam opposite Puneet Kumar in 2009.
She has a supporting role in both versions of Raavan and plays the female lead in RGV's Rakta Charitra.
