Model-turned-actress Payal Rohatgi turns 26 on November 9, 2010. Though a computer engineer by education, she also was a finalist at the Femina Miss India contest in 2000 and won the title of Miss Tourism World in 2001. Before entering Bollywood, she modeled for Amul, Nirma, Cadbury's Temptations Chocolates and Nescafe. She appeared in "Big Boss" and earned fame. Rohatgi made her Bollywood debut in 2002 with Harry Baweja's 'Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai?' a Hindi remake of the Hollywood teen flick 'American Pie'. She made her A-grade acting debut in 2006 as one of the lead characters in '36 China Town' along with well-known actors Shahid Kapur, Kareena Kapoor, and Paresh Rawal.Later, she appeared in the critically acclaimed 'Corporate' where she played the part of an item girl. In 2007, she had her first release with Priyadarshan's film 'Dhol'. Then, she played a positive second lead character opposite Arbaaz Khan. In 2008, she was seen in a cameo opposite Ranvir Shorey in 'Ugly Aur Pagli'. Only recently, Payal has finished shooting for Anubhav Sinha's TV series called 'Mr. and Mrs. Mishra' to launch it on Sahara One. Smashits wishes Payal a very happy Birthday and a great career ahead.
