Samantha and Sameera in 'Erra Gulabilu'

Erra Gulabilu is one of the best movies directed by K Bharatiraja in the late 70's.

Starring Kamal Haasan and Sridevi in the lead role, the thriller won many accolades. Now Gautam Vasudev Menon is making a new thriller with the same title.

Starring Samantha and Sameera Reddy in the lead roles, the film is also being made in Tamil as Nadunisi Naaygal. But the Telugu version has been titled Erra Gulabilu. Ashok Vallabhaneni is producing it in Telugu. Manoj Paramhansa of YMC provides the camera work. The film has no songs.
